WordPress Upgrade and Comments On

I’ve upgraded WordPress to version 2.8.4 last sunday and turned comments back on.

Upgrading worked pretty well, but it’s a bit of work (downloading new version, taking care not to delete anything important of old version, etc.). That’s why I was thinking about improving future upgrades – if I find any good alternatives, I’ll write about them and share my solution.

And, some good news: finally I could turn comments back on. From now on it’ll be necessary to enter a few characters in order to post a comment, however, this prevents my pages from being flooded by automated spam comments – at least I hope so. Anyone having problems with spam, take a look at this CAPTCHA plugin, it might help: si-captcha-for-wordpress (this is the one I use… but there are lots of them available).
